The Battle Within
Aug 20, 2025For most of my life, it felt like a losing battle.
I worked hard, earned money, competed, even won at times—but no matter how fast I ran or how hard I pushed, I always ended up in the same place: empty. I spent more than I made, bought things I thought mattered, set goals, chased them down—only to circle back to nothing.
And with nothing came the shame.
Disappointment.
The same heavy feeling in my chest, again and again.
It didn’t matter how hard I tried, I was running in circles—living the same story on repeat. And one day, I finally had to ask the question that cuts to the bone:
Who am I?
Who is driving this bus?
And do I really want to keep repeating this cycle for the rest of my life?
It’s one thing to see the pattern. It’s another thing entirely to go to war with the ingrained behaviors, the invisible forces, the identity that keeps pulling you back down.
That was my turning point.
I decided to change my identity. To rewire my inner circuitry. To dig deep into the code that had been running my life for decades. Because the truth is—it wasn’t that I didn’t like who I was. It’s that the man I was had no real idea where he was going, or even who he was. He was lost.
The cycle I was caught in wasn’t just a vicious cycle of ups and downs. It was a battle. A battle that never ended.
And if you really want to change—if you want to rise as a Kind Warrior—you need to be prepared for the same fight. Not with the world. Not with other people. But with yourself.
This is the first step.
This is the battle plan.
This is where the real war begins.
